OUR CAPABILITIES

Team GCR are resourced with the experience to meet two key objectives:
  • To significantly enhance the value to sponsors of any investment they might make in Tom, Rachel and the team
  • To provide Tom and Rachel with an appropriate platform from which to develop and display their undoubted talents

We also have in Tom and Rachel valuable assets, not only in terms of their driving skills, but also in their personalities and ability to engage effectively as representatives for the sponsor. Furthermore, Team GCR benefit from a series of business links that can be deployed to put sponsorship plans into practice in support of any action sponsors might wish to undertake themselves. These include the Ashine marketing company, the Silverstone Racing Club and Indievictual, a restaurant, pub and catering company with which we have worked previously.

OUR APPROACH

We realise that particularly in these testing economic times every business will be guarding its bottom line and will view very cautiously invitations to sponsor a venture in motorsport. Research reports and associated statistics abound that in theory prove the value of motorsport. However, these are not exactly convincing if you take a cold hard look at business realities and ask yourself, “Will my marketing investment be worthwhile if I pay to have my company name on the side of a car or a race driver’s suit?” The answer is almost certainly no!

Clearly branding is important and so not surprisingly we offer a range of opportunities including:
  • Sponsor’s logo displayed on the car in prime photographic position
  • Product category exclusivity
  • Race car liveried in Sponsor’s corporate colours
  • Sponsor’s logo on the visor strip of the driver’s helmet
  • Sponsor’s logos on all team transport
  • Embroidered Sponsor logos in a prime position on driver’s overalls and team personnel uniforms
  • Options to sub-let advertising space on the race car to sponsor’s business partners
But we understand that this approach by itself is not sufficient to ensure adequate return on sponsorship monies. That’s why we offer so much more – sponsorship packages that comprise a series of activities that are wholly integrated to ensure they maximise a return on investment.

It is also why we are flexible. We know that in terms of a sponsorship package one size doesn’t fit all.
